Turning this building from 1574 - which had been used as a cowshed, tractor garage and storehouse - into a home was a once-in-a-liftetime challenge. Yet the new owners - a professional musician and his family - can now laugh about their adventures while enjoying a unique living space in the middle of one of Germany's premier wine producing regions.
