Family home in Brisbane, Australia is made flood proof for the future

A flood in 2011 convinced this family not only to stay, but to raise the level of their cottage and make it flood proof should the waters rise again in the future. The lower level, housing the garage, laundry and indoor-outdoor living area was refurbished using materials that could withstand water. The result is a confident new look and home that the family hopes will remain drip dry in the future.
